It is time to go
But let me just disappear
Into this poem
For a while
Words drip out slowly
Like honey
Or the cherished dream
That once poured out from your lips
And flowed into my mouth
The setting sun plays an immortal hymn
For the moon
Her love is not unrequited
It is just out of reach
The waves break on shore
They carry ancient love letters
So that the beach would never have to be
Skinless
In awe I listen to the rolling sea
It calls out my name
Just like your gaze before
The one that said forever
And I drowned in your eyes
Time after time
Without fear
A solitary pilgrimage
Beneath the night canvas
Painted with sighing stars
With nothing to hold
But memories, dreams
And my undying hope
Faith
Miles away, worlds apart
Footsteps heading in separate directions
Yet you still are my beacon
The indescribable beauty of the nightfall
The soothing stillness of my lonely walks
When I am trying to finish off the story
That never ends but constantly evolves
Perhaps our fingers intertwine again
In another eternity
All we have to do is whisper
Our magic word
And the Universe will remember
Like the sea and the sky
Two souls
Once united
Will always be connected
Somehow
Somewhere in time

This was weaved with notes of pain that in the way you wrote them down, felt so gentle and soft. It read like a ballad, a sence of distance pulsing through every word.

It is better to love from afar than to never experience love at all. Being in love awakens the soul to all the beauty that is around us all the time so even if you never reach the one you love the journey is always worth it!

These lines have left my beats staggering. Needlessly to say why, for, you know of the familiarity with which they speak to my red chambers.
Noora, I love visiting your abode… and simply be here *smiles*

SO glad to know that you felt my lines, SF! I’m always so humbled by your reaction to my “echoes and reflections”, because you are so amazing poet.
I’ve been suffering from a writer’s block recently. Well, I have writing and have been somewhat inspired, but I haven’t been satisfied with any of them. My writing proces is slow, so perhaps you’ll read my newest poems sometime next year. *smile* Hopefully, I’ll have some old pieces to release/share before that.
Happy thoughts and smiles to you, dear friend.
