Serenity

Serenity
Descends
Upon me
It lingers
Like the soft notes
Of Mozart’s legacy
Or a devoted caress
Immortalized
On my skin

Northern wind sings
Along with fading stars
And morning birds preach
In secret codes
While the dawn
Still hesitates
To arrive

Serenity
Descends
Upon me
As I sink into
Smiling silence

Déjà vu

Echoes and Reflections

Come
Walk with me
Where wildflowers bloom

Lie beside me
Beneath the irresistible sky
Point out
The constellations
You wish to fly to
I will take you there

The star chart is printed
On your skin
I will trace
My fingertips
Intimately
Across the beauty
I read like braille

Pausing

At the loveliest places
In order to forget
The world
But never you

Love,
Until the wildflowers
Begin to wither
In summer’s farewell

Come
Walk with me
Where all our journeys end
